An independent film company
From music to cinema
Our work began with music videos, developing a visual language through collaborations with artists including Calexico, Depedro, IZAL, Macaco and Ruth Lorenzo, among others. These projects became a space for narrative experimentation and collaboration with musicians, creative teams and international record labels. The relationship between image, music and storytelling continues to shape our cinema.
With Casamance, the Soundtrack of a Journey, Peret: My Name Is Rumba and La Singla, all directed by Paloma Zapata, we established a body of work in music documentary and in the exploration of the boundaries between documentary and fiction. Our films approach their protagonists through their experiences, uncovering stories of cultural transmission, identity and resistance.
La Singla, a Spanish-German co-production, opened the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival and received the 2024 Feroz Arrebato Award for Non-Fiction. Its international journey, including screenings at San Sebastián and Hot Docs and broadcasts on ARTE/ZDF, Movistar+ and NHK, reflects our commitment to bringing distinctive stories to diverse audiences.
Today we develop documentaries, fiction and hybrid projects, working with producers and filmmakers across Europe and Latin America. We accompany each film from research and writing through production, editing and its encounter with audiences, building partnerships that preserve its identity and extend its reach.
