Juliette & Camille selected for Spanish Film Previews at Locarno Pro 2026

Juliette & Camille, the new documentary film by Paloma Zapata currently in production, is part of the official selection of Spanish Film Previews at the 79th edition of the Locarno Film Festival. The presentation will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Sala 3 of Cinema Rialto, and will be moderated by Xavier Garcia Puerto.

Spanish Film Previews is a new initiative by Locarno Pro, organised in collaboration with ICEX, bringing together five Spanish productions in development to present them to the international industry. Access to the session is restricted to accredited Industry professionals.

The project's presence at Locarno has been highlighted by Spanish film media: Mundiario singled out Juliette & Camille as one of the standout independent proposals, describing it as «a musical journey in search of identity and belonging across Galicia».
