La Fábrica Naranja is an independent production company based in Barcelona. We create films with a distinctive voice, exploring new narrative forms at the intersection of music, fiction and non-fiction, with an international outlook and a presence across Europe, Latin America and beyond.
La Singla premiered as the opening film of the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival and has screened at San Sebastián, Hot Docs, Málaga, Raindance and more than forty festivals. Winner of the Feroz Arrebato Award for Non-Fiction, it has been broadcast by ARTE, ZDF, NHK, YLE and Movistar+.
Discover La SinglaLa Fábrica Naranja was founded in 2008 by director and producer Paloma Zapata. For more than fifteen years, we were a leading music video production company. That dialogue between image, music and storytelling naturally paved the way for our work in music documentary cinema, fiction and hybrid narratives.
Today, we accompany each film from its first intuition to its encounter with audiences. Our experience brings together European and Latin American co-productions, partnerships with broadcasters, and a presence at international festivals and markets.
